Got Questions?

Transitional housing is short- to medium-term accommodation designed to support individuals and families as they move from one stage of life to another — such as relocating to a new country or settling after a major life change.

For diaspora returnees and expatriates relocating to Ghana, we offer culturally immersive homestays, providing for a comfortable, secure, and fully furnished place to stay while navigating the logistics of settling in. It bridges the gap between temporary lodging (like hotels or Airbnbs) and long-term housing.

Our homestays include relocation assistance, orientation support, and access to community networks, helping returnees adjust smoothly to their new environment. Whether you’re staying for a few weeks or a few months, transitional housing gives you the time, space, and support needed to find your footing and plan your next steps with confidence.

Megbɔ Aƒe Residence offers queen, double, or family-sized rooms to enable individuals and families from all walks of life to transition with guided support. Whether you are traveling solo, with a friend, or bringing the entire family, we have a space for you.

Rooms include A/C, fan, private bathroom, wardrobe, as well as communal areas such as a spacious kitchen, community lounge, balcony, and a dedicated work space for digital nomads.

  • Our double room has 2 single beds (can be converted to a single bed), and can accommodate up to 2 adults.
  • The queen room has 1 queen sized bed and accommodates up to 2 adults.
  • The family room has 1 king sized bed and 1 double bed, and accommodates up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

The minimum stay at Megbɔ Aƒe Residence is 1 week, and the maximum stay is 6 months. This timeframe is designed to provide guests with the flexibility and stability needed during their transition. It allows us to offer comprehensive support, including relocation assistance, orientation, and community integration — all essential for a smooth and successful move to Ghana.
