Megbɔ Aƒe Residence—meaning “I have returned home” in Eʋe—is more than a house. It is a sanctuary for diasporans reconnecting with their ancestral roots after generations away. The name reflects the deep emotional and spiritual significance of return, of coming home after a long journey.
Located in East Legon, Accra, Megbɔ Aƒe Residence offers transitional homestay experiences, facilitated by African Diaspora Resource Centre, created to support members of the African diaspora as they relocate, reintegrate, and reclaim their roots on the continent.
We understand that returning home is more than a physical relocation—it’s a healing journey, a cultural reconnection, and for many, the fulfillment of a lifelong calling.
